Complete turnkey systems
Orus designs and installs complete turnkey vision systems. These systems can be very complex and can include, among others, the following items:
- Free preliminary project analysis with real samples in real conditions (we will simulate the speed, the vibration, etc.)
- Mechanical design in 3D
- Complete electrical design
- Standard / Custom vision algorithm
- PLC programming- Complex tracking system
- Adaptative reject system
- Integration with peripheral device
- Robots / Multi-axis tables
- Plant software (RSLinx, Wonderware, etc.)
- Industrial printer / Marking systems
- Complete on-site machine installation
- In-depth training
- Detailed operating manual
- Performance guaranteed

Feasability studies
At the beginning of every project, Orus makes a technical analysis in order to validate that the project has been well defined and that the success is guaranteed. In some cases, a more detailed analysis is necessary. A complete feasibility study can be useful when the quantity and variety of product is great, when specialized equipment to make the analysis is needed or when the hypothesis to validate requires extensive work. The study can help to specify the equipment needed, the best configurations and give more details on the financial aspect of the project.

In order to produce well documented feasibility studies, Orus owns a well equipped industrial lab that simulates real-life conditions in order to evaluate the best possible technique to reach inspection objectives. Here is a partial list of equipment available for feasibility studies:
- Conveyors (up to 400 ft/min)
- Drums (up to 2400 ft/min)
- 4-axis motion table (Travel of 12” x 12” and a precision of +/- 1 micron)
- 3D scanners (for topographic like scanning or to combine with the 4-axis table)
- Cameras (color and grayscale)
- High-speed cameras (also available for high-speed process analysis)
- Linear scanners for image unrolling (cylindrical products) or for web application
- Light sources (laser, LED, red, infra-red, UV, linear, ringlight, etc.)
- Lens C-Mount and F-Mount
- Optical specialized equipment (prism, mirror, beamsplitters, etc.)

Vision module for OEM client
Orus can also put up an engineering multi-disciplinary team in order to develop a specific vision module that could be integrated to an industrial equipment. In these cases, Orus can be used as a software developer only or can provide the OEM manufacturer with a complete fully-functional module including material selection, hardware/software integration and drivers development.

High-speed process analysis
Orus can also high-speed process analysis services. In order to better understand phenomenon happening at very high-speed, systems that can reach more than 2,000 frames per second can help maintenance team or special projects team to learn more about their machine, forget the guesswork and solve problems once in for all by knowing at the source what is causing the problem.
